WORRYING TOO MUCH?
It is all too common for people to worry, and most people’s worries pass quickly,
however, if you find you have been worried or anxious more often than not over a
period of six months or longer and have several of the following symptoms, consider
seeking help.
- Difficulty controlling the worry
- Restlessness or feeling keyed up or on edge
- Being easily fatigued
- Difficulty concentrating or mind going blank
- Irritability
- Muscle tension
- Difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep or restless, uneasy sleep
- The worry, anxiety or physical symptoms cause you trouble at home,
school or at work
Note: Only one of these symptoms needs to be present in a child.
If you notice some of the following symptoms in yourself or in a loved one, call your
Employee Assistance Program to speak with a professional counselor.
